Farewell and best wishes, Abba Box ... and hello, Squeaky! It's not such a bad trade-off. I find Squeaky to be an affable and charming co-host. Looking forward to hearing more of his (or her?) thoughts and opinions.

the loss of abba box is the hardest blow, as far as i'm concerned. not just because i like abba and hearing the songs, but mostly because i will miss tom talking to abba box as if it's a dear friend.

come back, abba box.

I am entertaining a theory that the Abba Box broke it off with Tom after it got a gander at the grandeur that is Zachary Brimstead.

I will miss the Abba Box because I liked Tom's plan to play every song off if it at least once on the air.

Tom's use of the ABBA box converted me to the band's charms. I'd previously loathed them, but now I love 'em.

ABBA: Now I get it!

I just said Myanmar to be topical.

You and those Kardashian fillies, Pete.

And, swiss, hello!  I evoked your spirit in the chat last night.

Man... now we're going to have to change the opening montage again...

Dave:  Dave from Knoxville...

I said it in the chat and I'll say it again: he still has the Agnetha Box.

I will say this and try to let it go.

Even though I know the designation was hung on me arbitrarily, it was one of the most fun things in my life in a long time. I have the poster framed and mounted in my office; it never fails to provoke a question or laugh.

Just as it was awarded arbitrarily, it was taken in the same way, a result I thought would come much earlier (I even commented on air one night about worrying when Lucy/Tom would pull the ball out from in front of me,) but now that it's happened, I gotta admit, my mood is dark. I will get over it, but more days like this I do not want to go through.

Many people here sure have been kind about it, though, so that's a start back. Now me and Andre 3000 are going to go have dinner.

DFK, I think I heard your heart break on the air last night...you were completely side swiped. Think of it as a new beginning. Besides, Tom gave you a lot of leeway that wouldn't be afforded to just any caller. You're a supercaller in our hearts and minds! Same for Erika and Paycheck!

Also, if I got a copy of your book, would you sign it for me?!

Right.  I think DFK showed what a supercalller he'll always be in that despite getting side swiped, he still went on with the call like a pro.
