"Rocky?"

Dearest Tom:

This is a pathetically piddling issue to raise, but I called into the show last night ("Curtis in Austin," trying to hype A.P. Mike's campaign for mayor) and, at the conclusion of the call, you said "Thanks, Rocky."

I have been racking my brain to determine if "Rocky" is a reference to something I am not catching. Legendary Austin-based musician Roky Erickson? Rocky the squirrel? Old-timey boxer Rocky Marciano?

This guy?

Again, I realize this is a dumb question, but I am expending a disproportionate amount of mental effort on it.

I was just saying a different name than yours when I made my goodbyes.

I meant absolutely nothing by it. Calm your head!

And thanks for calling!
