Marfa, Texas: What I saw on my vacation
« on: June 04, 2008, 01:31:16 AM »
During my vacation, I visited Marfa, Texas, the home of the intriguing Chinati Foundation art museum.  On the way there, just a few miles out of town, I found this place along the side of the road.  It seems to me that I had seen a photo of this in a book or online sometime before, but had forgotten about it.

Some yahoos had shot a hole through the window of the structure, and another wag taped a small note next to the bullet hole that reads something like "Cultures in conflict."

Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to see the bizarre and still-unexplained famed Marfa Lights.
