I love today's cat on the Stuff on My Cat page-a-day calendar. It shows a kitty with a dalek, and his crazy owner made a little hat for the kitty with an EXTERMINATE! ray thingy attached to it. LOVE IT.

Holy moly - it's 1:30 AM, and I just hit the jackpot at the Holiday Inn Express in Richmond, Virginia: a show about Colony Collapse Disorder (sad, but cute - I love my bee friends) on Discovery, followed by "Groomer Has It" into "Fat Pets" on Animal Planet!  I will sleep well tonight.

As you should. I saw that documentary, and while it's obviously some form of abuse to overfeed your animals... They're so adorable. I just want to give that big smiley guy a hug!

I was just talking about that grotesquely fat dog yesterday (though I saw the show on which it appeared some months ago).  That woman was so very, very crazy.  And what about her strange, silent, much younger husband?  I predicted a follow-up reporting that all three were found dead, victims of murder-suicide. 

I am painfully unhumorous on the subject of obese animals.  It's one thing being too undisciplined to keep oneself trim (something of which I certainly am guilty), but there's no excuse for doing the same to one's beasts.
