I think Tom should have an on-air birthday party for Dave. Kinda like the one for Petey a few years back, except instead of Master Shake calling in to wish a happy birthday it'd have to be, like, Robert Fripp or something.

Right?
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

If he could get Robert Fripp to call in, I would be willing to wait a week. It's in your court, Tom!

They should have Dave fly in and perform in a band like they did with Petey. It would be named Von Knoxville.

does anyone know for sure whether or not there's going to be a show tomorrow night?  if not, i'm gonna go see a movie screening, but if there IS one, i wouldn't dare miss it, as i am going through withdrawal still from last week.

WFMU station manager, Ken, mentioned on last week's Seven Second Delay that Tom was on the west coast doing stuff for Monk--which of course translates to, "I took the week off!! I deserve it!! How daaaaare you!!"

Maybe we can have a virtual birthday cake on the chat tomorrow night for DFK? We'll write something prog-rock-y on it.

after 2 weeks absence, i would settle for brian ferry, but then again, it isn't my birthday...

We back in business tonight, or what?
Don't worry, I'm not actually a fan of the film Se7en.  I just think that numerical spelling is hilarious.

It's listed on the WFMU schedule, so I'd assume there's a show tonight.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

We have the same birthday, Dave!

For some reason, this makes me very happy.

Was your birthday as happy as mine, Matt? I scheduled a colonoscopy.

From the WFMU website right now:

"Wax Cruncher fills in for Tom Scharpling tonight." :'(

Just kidding! :D
