Did you spot any ironic state park or kids camp shirts?

hundreds - dozens, maybe. all three sizes too small i must say.

and LOTS of short shorts - on guys. anyone else witness this phenomenon with the hipster kids in their neck of the woods?

I can't wait for the thousands at Pitchfork fest this weekend. If it's as bad as last year, I think this'll be the last one for me.

I'm headed to Pitchfork and my Scarface T-Shirt is two sizes too small (must have been a mix-up at 'FMU, no big deal). Unfortunately I'm not exactly a skinny hipster and if I wear it I might be confused for Tim Harrington's clean shaven brother.

same problem with me.  I'm kind of a bigger dude and I only got a LARGE.  I needed an XL.  I love the shirt, but I look like an overstuffed eclair in it.  My girlfriend is now threatening to steal it from me...

That'll make two of us. Although mine is only one size too small. And I'm not balding yet. And I won't be taking off my clothes.

I wore my "Get Ready to meet ..." t-shirt to a special screening of The Dark Knight on Tuesday 7/15.  I thought for sure it would work to either draw any FOT's out of the crowd, or at least cause some head-scratching among the pop-culture fanatics that managed to find their way to this thing.

Nobody even realized that it was a misquote.  In fact, while I was being searched by security, one of the event producers said "Cool shirt!  Scarface!"

I simply replied, "Thanks, it's a fake T-shirt."

She goes, "Well, it's cool."

Sigh ... I probably should've gotten her phone number.

P.S.  No spoilers, but I'll say ONE word about The Dark Knight: This movie was definitely shot on a camera, and it shows.

that's what i dread the most about wearing this thing in public. that, and the fact that i'm a larger fella and the shirt hugs me in all the wrong places.

you never call the show any more steve - i miss your antics.

and it took folks a bit to get it, then it became a game of reciting the original quote even more incorrectly:

Prepare yourself to become acquainted with my diminutive confederate

Extend salutations to this, my admittedly tiny but close associate

also, the "-" makes that shirt perfect
Whatcha eatin' there, some Doritos?

That's great radio. Get off my phone.

If I was going to that Ted Leo & The Pharmacists show tomorrow, I would totally have worn my Scar-Face shirt. Getting this shirt kinda made my Summer.

I am also a larger fella, and believe me, it hugs in ALL the right ways. ... eeew.

I don't call in much anymore for several reasons ...
1:  I've run short of antics.
2:  The past two weeks, when I was planning to call in each time, there was no show.
3:  There is no 3.
4:  I don't want to wear out my welcome ... even more than it already is.

Thank you for your support!

The ZING goes to you, Jason.  But it's "New Hampshaah"

sure thing, steve.

i don't think you've run short of antics at all, but you may have fallen victim to "orson welles syndrome." by that i mean that first call (your "citizen kane") was so off-the-charts good that everything after is not only unfairly weighed against it, but pales in comparison (through no fault of your own.)

i say you call in to next week's show - a new steve in north hollywood for a new regime.

If anyone can find a picture of orson welles in a t-shirt i would love to see it.  my search turned up nothing.  I think he might be the last man in history to never wear one his whole life.
