The Best/Worst Moments of last night's show
« on: July 23, 2008, 11:06:28 PM »
I really think the best thing was when Tom gomped Laurie.  Sorry Laurie, but that was awesome when he gomped you.

The worst part was when that guy calling about Dark Knight didn't get gomped.  What the heck was with all that product placement ??

There were so many great moments: Tom's Mamma Mia review, Tom and PFT impersonating Jeff Goldblum, Spike's "Hellllllllloooooooooo, Patton" (that should be Patton's ringtone for the rest of his life). My favorite has to be PFT's laugh at "Morgan Spurlock's girlfriend". It was, pardon the phrase, epic.
It ain't ego, it's my love for you.

Best Part:
*PFT losing it over Ramsey's call.

Worst Part:
*Having to wikipedia Bill Murray after hearing Tom say "if that's stuff is true, then shame on you" and in turn being bummed out.

My favorite moment was when Tank was stammering while talking about Tor.  Then when Tom mimicked the stammer, Tank goes "What're you doin', Surfin' Bird?  HEY GLEN, HE'S DOIN' SURFIN' BIRD!!!"  Or something like that.

I will need to reserve final judgement until after having reviewed the podcast; but, as it stands now, the best moment was "Morgan Spurlock's girlfriend".  It was a perfect storm of inflection, timing, and content, much like "Truck Nuts" some weeks back.  I hope Ramsey doesn't take Paul's laughing jag the wrong way and mutate with anger, like a comic book villian, into James. I hope to never hear the words "You got Ramsey-ed".

The worst moment was when the show ended--no offense to Evan Funk Davies. He's awesome.

I laughed at "Alexandra Jamieson, better known as Morgan Spurlock's Girlfriend" and then got swept up in PFT's eruption.  When Ramsey revealed that his second celebrity sighting was in fact Morgan Spurlock, I laughed so hard that I thought I would require hospitalization for internal injuries.

Second favorite, right after Spike has done the "Hello, Patton" and laugh at Tom's request:

Tom (laughing): Thank you, Spike. You're a good guy.
Spike: Thank you. I'm glad somebody approves.
Tom (stone-faced): Get off my phone.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

When was the Tank/Tor call?  I only found the one Wurster moment.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I enjoyed how much PFT was enjoying Tom's rapid-fire GOMPs towards the end of the show.
