I've also heard the same story about early film audiences panicking when the guy in "The Great Train Robbery" shot his gun in a direct closeup. There's an homage to that shot at the end of Goodfellas.

This last show's topic is one of the best in a really long time. This is one of those evergreen topics, we should spend months discussing showbiz crimes. Highlights include the Best Show's new legal council Grace, anything involving Julie Klausner (who was hilarious on What What Happens Live), Tom's continued grudge against "Every Breath You Take", Dudio just being Dudio, "We can't get this guy on the evil robot stuff.", Wurster's "riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight", El Chapo's continued reign of terror, and that caller that freestyled all over the topic.
Wailin' the eff outta that vibraslap!

It's a minor thing but has anyone else noticed the "bluetooth pairing" sound that seems to be a part of Jon Wurster's calls now? It's been happening consistently for the last few weeks. Similar to the Newbridge Phone effect, I don't care if it's intentional or accidental but it cracks me up when I hear it.

I've also been enjoying the "the last caller is a peeper" thing.

Re:Francine... Don't understand why someone in love with a young girl would go to jail for that long.  Mainly it's the bad ones only after one thing that ruin it for everyone else.

Cosign+100000  I love the #ShowbizCrimes topic, and would love to see a ranking of Worst Sentences based on the crime.  (I'm pretty sure GG Allin or the Mentors would rank the highest, though.)

The Adam Resnick show:

Tom saying "Tron." Specifically, his pronunciation of "Tron."

Dave was great on the HHOP, it's too bad he can't join the panel regularly

Bibi is the best caller of the new era, no doubt.  Loose cannon but manages to keep it together long enough for an entertaining call.

Jack Black. JB. Jaybles.  Simply a great guy and a music nerd.  I could listen to him and Tom talk for the entire show.  And they're both fans of hoops, which they never got into.  Hope there is more of him calling in the future.

Dave from Knoxville is a sweet guy and I look forward to exploring his spotify playlists.

Here is an article about the MLS HOOLIGANS~ battle between supporters of Red Bulls NY and NYCFC. It's so inane.

And here is 15 VERY painful moments of NYCFC fans walking through Mid-Town Manhattan before boarding the PATH to Harrison.

So embarrassed to be a fan of a MLS team (thankfully not one of those teams, though!)

Definitely my favorite caller. She's been calling for a while, but I think she got GOMP'd a couple times at first.
