I was bummed to hear only 11 people listened to the show last week from Tom during the show?  Seriously?

I think (and hope) this is a bit of Scharplingian exaggeration meant to outline how the show doesn't get the numbers it deserves.

I'm going to start using words like "Scharplingian" and "Liskian."

Do people who don't listen call?

Yes. You'd be surprised how many people call who aren't currently listening to the show.

I was surprised to hear this too! I listen everytime I'm in on a Tuesday and download on Wednesday to try to get the gravy train to the station.

The best part: finding out me and Tom shared the same sentiment when that damn car chase interrupted the NBA finals.

Does the number of live listeners affect sponsorship in any way?  If so, I'll start tuning into the livestream (as well as downloading off itunes).

Would be great to have some talk about this next week

http://www.rollingstone.com/tv/lists/saturday-night-live-all-141-cast-members-ranked-20150211?utm_source=cnnhp&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=cnn&utm_campaign=nov2015

There are some real "sick burns" in that list.

[edit] Let me just say for the record that their treatment of Michael O'Donaghue was cheap and sleazy, and that list a waste of my f**kin' time. Never waste my time.

At least I learned that Norm Macdonald is a "Dennis Miller clone".

In an episode filled with great moments, the best for me was hearing Randy Savage in the sound collage. Though, I do look forward to parts 2-81 of Dudio's reel.

I love it when Tom talks to kids. Imogen in Portland was old enough where she could have some banter back and forth...when the kids are smaller, it's kind of a more one way conversation.

Sorry, last weeks show, but the explanation of Blade, being a daywalker and having all of the vampire's strengths and none of their weaknesses.  It was good.  Fred's trashtalking, I like how he has stepped into the role of protege/mini-tom.  Also, not show related, but I just listened to the Hollywood Handbook with tom, and it was so good.  "Save his life.  Circumcise this man"

This weeks, I was walking around going "Oh no, Oh no" when I heard that guys horrible voice, but then tom was like "that's your version.  my version is...youre this annoying douche" I was laughing so cathartically.  The pain Tom was expressing, funnily, throughout the show, with google, with the show, with his year, I was like, oh man.  Mit Hamine is the last thing you want to hear, but then, as always, its turned into gold.  The best show is the best!
