His whole call I had the queezy feeling in my stomach that I used to get when THAT neighborhood kid showed up to play football with the rest of us kids and, though he was good and scored points for his team, made the rest of us feel like shit and stopped all the fun with his pompousness and snide comments.

The Greg-u-la-tor!  No doubt, the straw that stirs the drink.  Like the Red Sox fan in Baltimore who ran onto the field to flip his team the double bird.  Like Reggie's 3 homer game in the 77 world series.  "People should worry what I think of them.
