Non-Existent Episodes
« on: August 03, 2008, 11:33:45 PM »
In the archives, there is occasionally a show that says "no best show this week" or sometimes there isn't a show mentioned at all, it just isn't there.  Is there a reason some episodes are not even mentioned and are they available somewhere?
Thanks
Jimmy

And on a side note not related, is it just me when I'm trying it, or is the website where you can order the Scharpling and Wurster CD's not working.  I would like to get them but when I click "add to cart" the webpage doesn't load.  Thanks again.

There's a post on this on scharplingandwurster.com.  Give it a week.  Meanwhile, iTunes.

I thought this would be a thread where we make up our own fictional episode summaries.

"October 2, 2004 - Tom welcomes renowned pet communicator Beatrice Tozzetti to translate for Dogmo live on the air!  Plus, an Unfair Record Review of 'Medulla,' Zachary Brimstead discovers reggaeton, and Officer Tom and Purple Shirt reenact a tense scene from Witness."

February 28, 1978 - Tom talks about ABBA: The Movie and asks the listeners for help customizing his van.  Plus, Robert Klein checks in, Philly Man Stan gets kicked out of Studio 54, and Bruno S. calls to promote his debut album on Casablanca Records.

Awesome.

I wanted to mount a full-on fake recap for one of the weeks there wasn't a show for a fan fiction contest entry, but after giving it a few minutes of thought, I was able to accept that I could keep up with neither Tom nor Omar in their amazing weekly output.
This may be the year I will disappear.

That might even call for some Dark Magus.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.
