Tom was right. Again.

Forgive me if a similar thread already exists. I'm new.  I thought I'd start a thread documenting how some of the doom and gloom that Tom always sees on the horizon has come to pass.

I'd like to start off with the first tangible evidence of JUNO fallout.  I present to you the trailer for Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist.  Every Night Has A Sountrack, dontcha know? Ewwwwwwwww bouey.

Also, if anyone could advise me on how to get rid of that straggling html that always appears when I embed a youtube clip, that'd be great.

You just need to put the youtube tags around the URL- you don't need the rest.

I hope Michael Cera doesn't turn out to be the Anthony Michael Hall of his generation.

You don't even need to do that on a tricked out board like this.  Just paste the URL.

Juno's number finally came up on my Netflix queue and I watched it just so I could tell all these L.A. Juno worshipers why it stunk.  And ...

HO BOY, did it stink!!!  Everything in it was so damn precious and clever for clever's sake.

I do have higher hopes for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.  But they're certainly using a lot of Juno-esque devices in the ad campaign.

From what I can tell, it all started with The Slums of Beverly Hills. What if Patton Oswalt, fresh off of his time traveling assassination of George Lucas, stole and destroyed the original print of that film? Ghost World, Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, and Nick and Norah would disappear like Marty McFly's hand. Alan Arkin might even dematerialize from his Jerky Boys yacht since he was in two of these gems.

Is it wrong that I think Kat Dennings is totally adorable?

(Not that I'm planning to see this movie or anything.)
