I've been wondering how the Alaska Personnel Board's inquiry into Sarah Palin has been going, since it hasn't been mentioned on the news for a while, and came across
this update: "An investigation by Alaska’s personnel board into Gov. Sarah Palin’s decision to fire Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan in July will likely conclude that Palin violated state ethics laws, said a top Alaska Democratic lawmaker." Also interesting is the
news that the board has expanded the scope of the investigation to include other possible ethics violations and that "while the Legislature’s inquiry ended last Friday with vague talk of further action, the official investigation can bring legal consequences under the state ethics law."
My fingers are crossed.
