I have a question for the Pro-Beer In The Shower People:

What is the deal with this? How did you come up with the drinking things in the shower thing? It was never an idea that even came close to crossing my mind until this week's show. I just...I mean, I like beer fine, and I like showers fine, but I also like lots of other unrelated things. How did these things end up together?

There is precious little drinking time between the closing whistle and bedtime, you have to multitask.

I think it's one of those "I'm a grown-up so I can do whatever I want" type of thing. My special lady friend uses that line of reasoning to argue for cake for breakfast.

Dropped my Heineken keg can twice, once on my foot.

Glass of wine in the bathtub?  Fine.
Can of beer in the shower?  Stupid.

Since this show aired I've been trying to think if I’ve ever done this – say after mowing the lawn or playing softball or something – and I honestly can’t remember.

I witnessed a friend of mine drink beer in the shower once. I feel it was acceptable because it was under these circumstances:

1) It was an outdoor shower
2) At a beach house
3) He had just taken a dip in the ocean and was simply rinsing off the salt water thus no soap and no suds to ruin the beverage
4) It was a social situation where other folks where drinking as well
5) He still had his bathing suit on

In this scenario I feel drinking in the shower is permitted and should perhaps even be encouraged.

I would also mention that this friend is a huge alcoholic but that hardly seems pertinent.
