Never noticed that before, but I busted out my UCB Season 1 DVD, and you're right: he's definitely there.

I may be mistaken, but I think I also saw WFMU's DJ Terre T sitting next to him.

Just a coincidence that a guy who looks like Tom was sitting next to a gal who looked like Terre.  Neither one of them was actually there.  In fact, they've never met!  True story.
