Sure, a Rep. for a mostly rural district vs. the guy who prosecuted annoying telemarketers for Missourians?  I can see it.

I agree.  An AG is a sexier job than a Rep.--Spitzer was a rock star for awhile, until he was Gov.

I just don't understand how McCain fared so well in MO.  MO's Democratic candidates received a 100,000 more votes in their Congressional Districts than Republicans, 500,000 more for Governor, yet Obama loses by 6,000?  It just doesn't add up to me.  Which is fine.

I'll attribute my anxiety to being the only State not assigned a patriotic color!

I am the last one to say race is an issue almost anywhere, but in Missourri race was the issue.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

I'd be more concerned if the pollsters thought something seemed off.  MO is a complicated state, but it's not like it's something people don't recognize.  It's always been a complicated place politically.

Arkansas chose McCain 59%.  I'm guessing there was some major turnout by Southern Baptist rural voters.  Also, this state is made up of 59% plumbers.
I'd heard Arkansas was going to go red but all the Obama yard signs in my neighborhood threw me off.

Anyone else hoping for scandalous news to come out of Alaska?  The discrepancy between the polls and the so-called actual results is very fishy.

At Obama HQ in Bloomington, Indiana on Election Day morning, they were realistically just hoping Indiana would be 'too close to call' well into the night.

Seeing it go blue was a great feeling indeed!

The Alaska vote is very, very fishy. I'd be willing to bet there was electoral fraud.

Wouldn't it be great?  Especially if it turns out Palin was behind it all?  I hope this one doesn't just disappear because everyone's so relieved Obama won.

Yes, I saw that Nate Silver was pulling a "WTF?!?" over Alaska.
