seconded.  although, ive been having an inner dialogue about calling in next tuesday.  i'll be all alone, leaving distractions and background noise (serious Tom bait) nonexistant for the first time.

I'd like to see human beings discover a way to speed up evolution.  We'll then evolve ourselves to the point where we're seven feet tall, telepathic, power-hungry monsters.  But then we'll keep evolving and, before we destroy ourselves, we'll transform into non-corporeal beings who float around as balls of energy and speak to each other with booming, peaceful voices.

Kind of like that episode of The Outer Limits, "The Sixth Finger."
