The opener was Greg Ginn, a laptop, and some video screens.

Greg Ginn was drinking some kind of apple beer.

I ran into him outside the restroom after his solo set. I didn't know what to say, so I just said "Good job!" in a cracking voice.

It was fun though. I ended up covered in sweat and was sore for several days. But we had to go get the toddler from his grandparents after Damaged II.

Things our marriage barely survived: bankruptcy, law school, the ongoing disagreement about whether Led Zeppelin is an amazing band.

In junior high, Zeppelin was the best thing in my life. Then I rejected them in high school because they weren't punk rock.

Embarrassing admission: there was a time when I thought "Wearing and Tearing" was still cool because it was supposed to be their take on punk.
I smiled when Tom mentioned this back when recounting that sporkle quiz.

When I wanted to be a goth in 9th grade, the musical resources were pretty slim. I had to settle for a mixtape featuring Moonlight Sonata and Billy Joel's "No Man's Land."

Heaven forbid he let his kid listen to a song off his new Queen tape. Yes, it is called "Kashoggi's Ship." It's some rich guy they were partying with.
