haha, totally!  that sounds like someone's five year plan for when they're six years old and still think that "dinosaur" is a viable option for a career.

I liked her, which is the reason she had to go. She actually seems like people I've met in my life and had conversations with rather than judged from afar.
Predictions from now on:
Ep 5: Tommy eliminated
Ep 6: Sean eliminated
Ep 7: Jersey guy eliminated
Ep 8: Matsuflex eliminated, Judo guy wins.
Either that or Jersey guy wins, but they will keep Matsu or Sean on to the end because the rest of the dudes aren't that interesting.

I'm pretty sure Rob (Power Tool) will make it to the end. Anyone else notice his absence when Matsu and Sean were flipping out?

I think it will come down to Rob and Jersey, with Rob pulling it out. Tommy's the next to go, I agree.

It will be hard for the producers to get rid of Matsu and Sean, though.

"That was my apple, dude."

"Sorry dude."

This show isn't on in Canada. (at least on the channels that I get)
I can't even stream it online because it is blocked outside of the US.
I have watched the trailer a bunch of times, it looks like the best thing ever.
Damn you Canadian Radio and Television Council!
A poor man's Bronson Pinchot.

"F%^K this F#&king apple."

"That was my apple, bro."

"Sorry, bro."

Corrected the quote. So much better with bro rather than dude.

I'm thinking of a word that starts with a t, ends with an s, and has a double r in the middle.
Too soon?

KK's right, Jeremy. I've been able to find most (but not every) episode online. It's worth it!

One of the things I keep boggling over in this show (and a few others) is how common it is to go by a name you gave yourself and that name represents a sort of character separate from you, with his own zany traits that don't necessarily reflect on you (Matsuflex, Celebrity, M.E.G.A., etc.).

It's one thing to have a nickname, but to get your friends and relatives to acknowledge a totally different character -- how does that happen? Is everyone Sting now?

My theory on this is that "Tool Academy" is the unnatural evolution of "The Pick-Up Artist", which is hosted by guys with names like Mystery and Slickster and Master Blaster. They even stole the whole merit badge idea, which I think originated on that show. The Pick-Up Artist creates the tools then Tool Academy "fixes" them, it's a complete cycle of life.

I believe they are trying to achieve the same one two punch as a trip to Charm School after life on the Rock of Love bus, or our two party system of government.

This is VH1's business model.  See also: Getting everyone wasted on The Surreal Life and then sending them to Celebrity Rehab, and from there to Sober House.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are PA's whose only job is to score drugs for the Dr. Drew crowd...

By far my favorite moment of the episode was when Matsuflex was excited about the cookout and he used this term with the utmost seriousness:

"I'm gonna party like a Matsu."
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.

Judging from his myspace... I think the Matsu's are also a community or intramural softball team.

So being a Matsu is like being a Smurf or a Ramone? ???
