I'd say so. I was pretty sure the last of the screamo bands pretty much disappeared by 2003, but maybe it's just because i stopped paying attention.

it's one of those sub sub sub genres that really has nowhere else to go after awhile. you can only tack -core onto the end of so many things before it just become nonsense

Our nanny informed us that she takes her daughter to Screamo concerts. Almost fired her on the spot. Also, nanny's son's favorite band = Blink 182.
