New record by Bob Hund limited to one copy
« on: March 03, 2009, 07:03:50 PM »
I thought this was pretty funny (or super-annoying if you're a fan, I suppose):

Swedish alt-rockers Bob Hund (aka Bergman Rock) are releasing their new single - their first recorded song in over six years - in an unusual format: one dubplate vinyl 12", the only existing copy, mounted to a turntable, with cover art, song lyrics and monogram etched onto the lid by the artist Martin Kann. And because it's a dubplate, it'll probably only play like 20-30 times.

Check it out on eBay.

Someone should release one record, but divided up into 8 pie pieces.  Then, if anyone ever wants to listen to it, you need to gather the 8 owners together in one place--probably Reykjavik.
