I was at Big Dipper, but I didn't meet you then and thus didn't get to twirl your mustache. However, the mustache-less Spoony I met at the Ted Leo show was a handome gentleman and has no need to be so self-conscious.

If only you knew how many face-lifts I've had. I'm really 42.

 Fixed.

Sans mustache. Sans glasses. Vulnerable.

I look rough, but no one's rushing to take my pic lately, so late-night laptop pics are going to have to do.

Ha, no. I can handle those goons. There were a bunch of reasons. It was time to say goodbye.

Spoony, you look like you're about to cry in that picture.  Makes me feel all motherly and stuff.

I had just gotten done helping a stranger move all of their possesions down a narrow three story walk-up. (I'm a good guest!) So rest easy.  I'm not about to cry, I'm really sleeping with my eyes open.

My theory? Somebody saw the moustache, walked up, and asked "Hey, aren't you in Weezer?"

It's bad enough I get that with my glasses. Mr Rivers pushed me over the edge with his hand-me-down Tracy Pew look. Something had to give!

Plus, summer seems to be the best time to shed hair.  You probably feel lots better without your moustache.  I just cut all of my hair off, and I feel 10 pounds lighter.
