What's up with Edge now?  Is he a heel or a face in 2009?

I'm out of the loop.  Sadly!

I'll say yes. But I haven't really enjoyed wrestling since Ted DiBiase retired.

Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

It's all gone downhill from Wrestlemania II, which not only featured William "The Fridge" Perry, but if I recall, Hilbilly Jim and two "midgets" versus King Kong Bundy and two "midgets".

King Kong Bundy did his signature move, "The Avalanche", on a man whose entire body was smaller than King Kong Bundy's torso.  It's been all downhill from there.

I apologize, the King Kong Bundy fiasco was during Wrestlemania III.  He sure showed Little Beaver who's boss. The future governor of Minnesota provides some great commentary.

Go to 7:19!  Smash him, Bundy!

That's one of Pig Champion's several urns.

Professional wrestling is one of the few . . . sports where age doesn't necessarily rule a contender out.  I like that.

Of the two, I vastly prefer the Undertaker.

It doesn't even matter how old The Undertaker is. He's already dead. Multiple times over. He can also fly and shoot electricity from his fingers and has a mysterious army of hooded druids who serve at his whim*. It's a wonder that he could ever lose any match, much less one of such historical importance. I suspect all of the losses he's taken in his storied career have merely been the result of him becoming bored and losing interest in a match, like those 10 games the 1996 Chicago Bulls lost.

No, I think it's pretty clear that the best chance to have beaten him was when he faced his own magical brother, the diabolical Kane. Or if the evil clone Undertaker were to return. Indeed, the lift on stem cell research restrictions could be the Undertaker's greatest challenge, if the scientific community was able to create a newer, better, more evil clone of the Undertaker by this time next year. This may explain Obama's strong, anti-cloning stance: he doesn't want the undefeated streak to end.

*My apologies to the mysterious hooded druid army and their families if my information is outdated and they have been let go by the Undertaker due to these troubled economic times.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I knew a guy during college who could do an uncanny impersonation of Paul Bearer. He and my college roommate had plans to dress up as The Undertaker and Paul Bearer for Halloween, but I don't know if it ever happened.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Undertaker fan here. This is probably the only forum in the whole world where I can make such an admission.

HBK by way of a "Montreal Screwjob"*

* A "Montreal Screwjob" sounds like a filthy finishing move or something that would be discussed on the Mike Show. For its true meaning, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Screwjob
