He's got my hair!

The Weirdest.

If you aren't 100% joking, I think this statement above all others requires a "jpeg?". Come on, man!!

Maybe we could work out a deal,Jose the regular.

I'm thinking a new soundboard and a little something for my pay-pal account.  Nudge, nudge, wink, wink>
I'm willing to work something oot. (Too much Canadian radio, I suspect).

Limelight has a super-awesome guitar riff.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Better than Spirit of Radio's guitar riff?

I think when it comes to Rush, all I really ever need to hear from them is Red Barchetta, Subdivisions, Limelight, Time Stand(s) Still*, Tom Sawyer, New World Man and, every once in a great while, The Trees and Absolum**.  So far, I've made it 29 years without hearing their entire catalogue, and I turned out okay ... right?

*I didn't feel like looking up the correct title.

**Songs listed in order of awesome.

Why does it happen?

I love a Rush compilation if I am in the right mood. It's got to contain YYZ twice, though, like bookends.

What did TOm Sawyer do to deserve being this song's namesake, pay someone to paint a fence with an apple?  A "nice, playful boy" who is also "selfish, deluded, and particularly racist."  Modern day warrior, please?  How is his mind not for rent, is he really particullarly rebellious or just perpetuating the system with his childish highjinks.  How is Rush's objectivist or whaterver modern day warrior today's Tom Sawyer?

I guess slowing music down constituted a new genre.

Nah, Barr cough syrup.  Which btw, thanks for glamorizing that, now they gotta put extra ass flavor in the codeine cough syrup so people don't abuse it.  Last year I had a nasty cough and I had to drink that garbage.

Because he gets high on you.

Oh, and DFK and MoS:  Yes, I am never psyched to hear Roll the Bones.  And YYZ ... I forgot to add that to my list.  Please go easy on me in our next belt-whippin' match.

The song was written unintentionally, unconsciously, and prophetically about Rush Limbaugh through a common phenomena known as synchronicity.

Look up the lyrics and think of the fat bastard while you read them. They fit.

Not saying the band is in anyway shape or form a Rush supporter since the song was written way before his career got started. It's just synchronicity that's all.

And he does get high on you. You gotta bring your own oxycontin however.

That is a very astute observation, spaceprophet.

No his mind is not for rent
To any god or government
Always hopeful, yet discontent
He knows changes aren't permanent
But change is

This is the Rush Limbaugh credo in so many words.
Nobody ever lends money to a man with a sense of humor.
