TE, I take Republicans very, very seriously. They may be laughable right now, but we won't be laughing the minute they find the right candidate to give them a voice.  Mort Rimbley didn't fit the bill. Nor did McCain. Nor did Palin. But some ghoul is waiting in the wings to become the next Reagan circa 1980 or Gingrich circa 1994.

100% OTM. The GOP is in dire straits right now. However, I don't have any doubt that they will get their act together. With that being said, I don't think that purging your party of moderates is necessarily the best way to begin their reclamation project.
