I never said I hate old people. I hate animals, definitely, but not old people.

Pidgeon, the fact that you know that dude's name is Leroy, and that you told me, totally makes up for your hatred of animals and old people and the other thing that got on my nerves that I forgot about because actually I do not care at all.

I love both Jonny Ryan and Jack Chick, but after reading a whole bunch of their comics in a row I want to kill myself, even though I'd been laffing the whole time.

Also, I hate the thing I have chosen and in which I have a moderately successful career, despite incredibly long odds.  What to do, what to do?

I went to the e-Tix site on friday and ALMOST bought a single ticket to the next night's Dan Deacon show. I just kind of wanted to throw myself into the belly of the beast, try and drop all preconceived notions of this artist and see if I could be won over.

I balked.

i did this as well, except it was the day of the show and i actually drove out to the venue.  ive read so many articles i figured i might as well see what all the hub-bub is about, maybe have him prove me wrong.  i saw some people i knew outside smoking, we chatted, then i went across the street to drink for less than the cost of a ticket.
