I don't get what people are worried about.  He's been on that network for one thousand years.  It's unlikely he'll get dropped.  The only person more qualified for the job is Jay Leno.  Even if he does get dropped, he'll be fine.

Anyway, I blame it on Andy.

Does shitty mean "higher than Letterman?"  Because they are (though apparently they've been declining since the premiere).

Yeah, I think they're still slightly higher than Letterman's.

So far Conan's been getting more than Letterman, but by a decreasing margin, and last night was very close. But there's some conspiracy theories floating around about how more people want Conan to fail...

I gots to stop linking to Vulture.

Looks like Sarah Palin wants Letterman to beat Conan too.

Conan should respond by having Norm Macdonald and Neko Case on every night.

Amazing that this topic already existed. Patton was fantastic on Conan tonight. I'm not always a fan of interviews where the comedian gets on a roll and the host steps back, but he was just on fire.

i gots family in town; my wife's little brother (who once received a wake-up bodyslam from Thousand Fights). we got tickets to Conan for today, but I had to go to an audition.  They got to go but I didn't. We'll be watching together in 50 minutes.

The end.

Jim Gaffigan that night as well.  Warming up my VCR already to tape it.

Watching the Monday show when he and Andy talked about his concussion was a little upsetting.  Glad he's ok now.
