I think the Wooden Shjips and Sunn O))))) releases on there have 4-5 tracks apiece.

What do people think about the new eMusic TOS?  I download a lot of records with more than 12 tracks, so it'll probably even out in the end, plus I download too much music anyway.  But still.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I gave my account the heave ho last week. In attempting to cancel, they did give me a booster pack of 25 downloads to reconsider - but the verdict remained the same.

Don't bite.

Last time they got me back it was 75 free downloads.  Hold out; be strong.

Hugman see if they have Firesign Theater.

I gave eMusic the proverbial heave-ho in September of last year. I don't plan on going back either. I remember when one would be able to get 75 downloads for $14.99. You could even get 30 downloads for $9.99. They were very reasonable. Now however, they've raised the prices on all of their plans, but in most cases you get the same amount of downloads as before. Now that they're adding the Sony back catalog, I would imagine the prices will go up even further. People on the eMusic message boards have been complaining quite a bit.

There was a time when I loved eMusic. I can't tell you how much great music I discovered there. But I don't think that the service has changed for the better in recent years. That's why I left.

Here's a recommendation:

Fela Kuti-No Agreement (2 tracks)

Doesn't have quite the same ring as "I'm So Bored With The U.S.A." I think it's the syllables.

I hh'd emusic in 2004 when they dropped infinite downloads. Then it was that Russian mafia site for me.
