7occer. i see it on my commute. so there is someone out there with the legitimate "soccer" plate. and because this is a north dakota plate, i'm sure they will run in to each other at a soccer event. how uncomfortable!

I must admit that after I scrounged together enough cash for my first junker at age sixteen, daahdy bought me personalized plates as a birthday present. My choice?

A motivational speaker (or, "motivational" speaker) who gave a presentation in my office a couple months ago proudly announced that she had her personal motto immortalized as a license plate: WIN AT LIFE. Soooo, so punchable.

The only personalized license plate that I've ever seen in real life that actually made me laugh was: LICENSE PL8. Really, what more is there to say?

A minivan parked on my drive to work has "SIP BEER".  I can never tell if it's pro-beer in general, or just pro drinking beer slowly?

On Sunday, I saw a black muscle car convertible (kinda looked like a Mustang, but I'm bad with car identification) whose classic style was marred by the custom license plate ROBOTO.

I didn't know gearheads and Styx fans had such an overlap.

I didn't catch a look at the driver, unfortunately.  I wanted to make a mental note of his face, because that's presumably more or less what G-d looks like.

This reminds me of the only remarkable plate I saw when I worked at a license plate factory:

"BOW KILL," with a decal of the state wildlife department as the background.
