There was a white reggae guy on Carson Daley the other night -

Apparently he was discovered by Matthew McConaughey and signed to his label,  j.k. livin' Records.

Quote
During a performance one evening, actor Matthew McConaughey heard the music from where he was staying. He went down the next day to find out who had been performing the night before, saw the flyer, and then started to search Mishka out. Mishka soon became the first artist signed to McConaughey’s label j.k. livin’ Records.

Mishka is preparing to release his third album ‘Above The Bones’ in February 2009. Produced by Matthew McConaughey and Atlanta producer/musician Daryl Thompson (Sly & Robbie, Peter Tosh), tracks ‘Coastline Journey’ and ‘3rd Eye Vision’ are featured in McConaughey’s latest movie ‘Surfer Dude.’

Awfulsome? No, this is entirely awful. They seem more delusional than some of the artists that have called The Best Show over the years.

Mishka's still around?? I remember about ten years ago, his album came out on Creation Records - home of Oasis, SFA, Primal Scream, and all the UK press was like "Who's this wimpy white guy doing reggae, on the biggest indie label in the country?" and the album flopped and he got laughed out of town.
"Son, there's a thin line between crazed and rabid"

The worst thing about the Internet is that spoofs and real life are now almost entirely indistinguishable.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
