Thanks, Timmy!  I live in Brooklyn but am in Virginia for work right now -- hopefully it will still be there when I get home.  I'd pay 30 clams for that even though I would probably only listen to it once in a while.

No problem! I didn't mention it in my other post but it's right on the wall when you walk in.

Hey Timmy, I've been meaning to thank you -- I came back to NY about 3 weeks ago and snagged it.  A bunch of other records, too -- that place is dangerous.

You grab Back With A Bong, too and start a little circle pit to that dumb cavity creeps song?

Shaggy, No problem man! I hear you about that store, they constantly get stuff in so when I'm down there it's easy to drop money there.

Hugman, that song is the best! I went to a show in some kid's backyard in Jersey like 5 or 6 years ago. When I got there I found out it was a punk show / pool party. One of the bands covered Cavity Creeps and I looked over and there were a bunch of people moshing in the pool. It was great.

My friend and I started a sarcastic pit at a Ben Folds Five show. The more fragile looking indie rockers were none too pleased.

Mine was while I was working at amoeba. A horrible band was playing an in-store and they started a cover of kashmir.  A bunch of us were under the stairs to the mezzanine (for those of you that've been there) and I started a little circle pit.  Soon there were about 10 people in this tiny area moshing it up and Lance Rock (who worked there at the time and is now known as the host of Yo Gabba Gabba) started doing the P-Diddy rap from the Godzilla 2000 soundtrack version at the top of his lungs and we all fell out laughing.  So fun.

PS-I've never used the phrase "fell out laughing" before.

Quite possibly my favorite Best Show call ever. I could listen to it a million times. He has the most endearing voice.

I'd been meaning to find this call b/c I love H. Jon's voice big time too, so this was very cool to see @ iTunes this week.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

I haven't listened yet.

But I speculate that there will be Shackeltons  involved.

Love love love the Smirnoff Ice Gem.

Is this the first Gem not to feature Wurster?

I don't think he was on the Ryan Adams unfair record review.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I loved this week's episode.  The best was that listening to Jon Benjamin I kept picturing Coach McGurk, so when Tom talked I pictured Brenden Small.  It was very amusing.
