Thank you all (Steve in No. Hlywd, MC Steinberg, Andrew V. Dill, betheboy, Brett Davis, hugman, John Junk, Corrie, Spoony, Caissie, Matt, Eli, Lincoln, Kittykittymeowmixhead, Kid Pain, Jon from Maplewood, Jason Grote, Susannah, Evan H. Levine) for being such a great addition to my life and to the world at large in 2009.

Having never tried to intentionally meet up with a group of near-strangers in order to photograph them for such a personal project, I didn't quite know if or how it would work or what we would be getting into. All I knew for certain was that Tom attracts a quality ilk (with a few exceptions-you-know-who-you-are).

I would never have expected it to be ALL that it's been. Meeting you has been enriching and meaningful to me beyond these words and those pictures. I wish for great things for all of you in 2010 and beyond. I thank you for coming out and meeting me, for inviting me in, for allowing me to take your picture and to share it with everyone and for being there even when I'm not able to completely bringing it myself.  You inspire me and give me hope for the future.

Hey! I'm talking about you too, Tom, Jon, AP Mike, Evan, Therese, Terre, Paul F. Tompkins, John Hodgman. You brought me real joy in '09. I'm betting my lenses on you and all the people who leave their inimitable marks in the comments section to continue to bring your particular magic to the world. Thank you and Love from me, LJP
