Who wants to make some weird ass comedy videos - FOR FUN AND PROFIT!!!

okay, probably not for profit. BUT here is what I am looking for: one or two MOTIVATED FOTs in the general nyc/brooklyn/nj area to collaborate with. I am trying right now to really push my (limited) skills with motion graphics & compositing and need a way to practice. Let's sit down for a coffee and come up with an idea or two for a web video concept and shoot that fucker. Here's the thing: I really can't write for shit, so I really looking for folks that have ideas that I can help them to manifest. Funny acting types too! My influences (besides the obvious) range from stuff like KITH to the GI Joe Fensler clips to Adult Swim stuff to Brad Neely, just to name a few.

This would be purely for our own enjoyment and practice, but I am thinking that if stuff ends up decent, it should definitely go out there.

Sorry Martin, Erech and the rest who aren't around these parts, but I think this has got to be a local thing for now. I have worked a lot in the past with people remotely and it can get logistically difficult sometimes. That's not to say that you could not help out with some special skills from afar, so if the need arises I think we would definitely mine this board for some talent (there's no shortage of it, that's for sure).

That being said, you just work with WHAT you got, WHERE you got it, no matter what. pick up a cheap Flip Cam and get that idea out there! unless it's porno. then, send it to me for notes first and THEN get it out there!
