I saw a copy of RAM behind the counter at RiteAid yesterday, and wondered how RiteAid could possibly be selling a copy of TOM.

Isn't it almost as weird that a RiteAid is selling Ram?  Jpeg?

Busted!

Also, I like Tom's cover the best. C'mon Lennon!

Indeed. It was in a rack of CDs behind the register, and all the rest of them were total cut-rate bargain bin stuff.

I pledged Mouse of Today, but have not yet gotten anything.  When do I need to start worrying?

I have nothing to add to all the adulation but to agree and, what, 250th the accolades on this board: this year's TBSOFMU premiums CRUSH all competition, it was with great pride tinged with sadness that I put my groceries in the Dogmo bag while I listened to the Tom album on my iPod. I fully believe that original copies of that CD will trade, in the near future for what I gladly plunked down for a mouse pledge, but I won't part with it till we're talkin' 5 figures. I promise if that  happens I will give all but the cost of a mouse pledge of that profit back to WFMU.

Also- I am so happy that the new FOT cards come blank- I'm a proud FOT card holder since early 06, and don't need another. So with great pride I filled it out for my 3 month old son, as he's heard, in and out of the womb, plenty of The Best Show. And, yes, Larry the Perv always makes him scream.

Next best in the pack, and as always, Terre T's premium- great shirt, and that holey moley that CD is goddamn HOTT. Also I put on the CBC T shirt and my kid can't take his eyes off  Terre T cartoon.
Whatcha eatin' there, some Doritos?

That's great radio. Get off my phone.

Terre T.'s premium includes a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation T-shirt?  Wow.  Obscure.

I tried to make the CDs last as long as possible, so I didn't listen to Tom until last night.  It was great.  I never really got into Paul McCartney, so I was suprised to hear how many of his songs I actually knew and liked just from this one album.  (I'm kind of a Beatle-dummy.)  Excellent work by many excellent artists.  Thanks, Tom.

Woo, I just realized you can still donate. So I did. For some reason I thought it was only the one week.

I think the word on solo McCartney is spreading. I just heard "Too Many People" in a grocery store!
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Didnt see your jpeg note at first. I'll try and go back and see if it's still there, and snap a pic without freaking out the cashier.

I got my package. Everything in here is amazing. The RAM tribute isn't just a one-off listen. It really has a life of it's own and I'll probably be listening to it for a long time.

Also, Tom's German fanzine writer is pretty on-point. Funny from beginning to end.
