Does anyone else here feel "Rescue Dawn" should make a Top 50 list? I loved it. It was a breath of fresh air in this day and age to have a hero devoid of inner turmoil. No "demons" to speak of. Very interesting fare for Herzog. I absolutely loved it.

I absolutely loved it.I liked it a lot but I couldn't help but compare it to Little Dieter Needs to Fly, which I love. That probably helped in some ways, because one of the big complaints I heard about Rescue Dawn is about the ending, even though that's pretty much exactly how it happened in real life.

It's pretty great, but Little Dieter completely overshadows it, IMO.
