I don't even know what to say about this.
God bless. Whoop whoop.
He's right. It's unfair to judge them as senseless and violent. I mean, wrestling on thumbtacks? Sex hayrides? We do those at my church.
It's also good that you can be an Islamic and be a juggaolo.
Actually, there is something strangely sweet and touching about this.
This is exactly why I wasn't sure what to say. I'm almost beginning to regret that I painted all Juggalos with the same lead-based clown makeup.
Good for him, I say. Would it have hurt him to have at least put on a shirt?
(I know... the ink...)
I think the bottom line is that most people like to feel like they belong to something (right FOT's?) then everyone tries to justify what they're into to others as a way to justify it to themselves. This guy is obviously going to justify being a juggalo as a positive thing any way he can. Seems like that's always the case to some degree with political parties, religion, hate groups, deadheads, juggalos, etc. If only someone would have taken this kid under their wing and given him some good music he'd be out there making a video justifying Robert Pollard as a prolific genius instead of Violent J.
I think you're right. I wasn't specifically thinking of FOTs, but it did remind me of some of the sweetest hippies, goths, etc., that I've ever known--people simply desperate to belong somewhere, something we all have to deal with.
Very true guys (last two comments)... In fact, despite all the shortcomings and weirdness and dumb-as-stump-stupidity of the Juggalo community (OK, I'm only halfway through the movie) I have not (yet) heard even a fraction of the negativity that I encounter here on these very boards every time I read them.
Something to think about for me, at least.
woop.
