For any of you coming by public transport you need to get the Path train, here's an over complicated map.
The easiest way is to take the Path Train to Exchange Place, if you're coming from Manhattan it's only one stop from the World Trade Center. From there it is a four minute walk and a few flights of stairs.

Those coming from Hoboken or the 33rd street branch of the Path can either change at Grove Street and take a WTC train one stop to Exchange Place and follow the directions above or get off at Grove Street, head for the eastern exit which is the tunnel at the end of the platfrom, away from the two sets of stairs at the westerly end of the platform.
From there it is a slightly longer 7 minute walk.

There is metered parking along Montgomery Street, especially around the large post office.
I will scope this out in more detail later, there are parking lots too that serve the office buildings in that area but I'm not sure what time they close.
