Podcast featured in iTunes store
« on: August 26, 2009, 10:09:47 PM »
Perhaps I've just never noticed it before, but I see that the Best Show is one of the featured podcasts on the main page of the iTunes podcast section of the store with a large rotating graphic.

Right between Cookie Monster and Anderson Cooper.

I've seen it as one of the smaller square graphics in the past, but this made me smile.

And this continues to be a problem: I keep thinking "New Port Richey" whenever I read the letters "NPR", rather than "National Public Radio".
I've got 99 problems but a FOT ain't one.

The featured ones change every week, I think it is somehow based on how many downloads a certain podcast gets.

When I lived in Tampa my girlfriend at the time lived in New Port Richey so I've spent some time there and let me tell you... that is a problem.

When I was a 12 year old kid on Long Island my best friend moved away to New Port Richey.  I sometimes wonder if he knows Fredricks or if perhaps he grew up to actually be Fredricks.

The Best Show SHOULD always be featured.  Tom gives Mac plenty of free publicity.  It's the least they could do.

On TBS, MONK, or when? I can't think of any publicity.

I actually found out there was a podcast version of the show due to this tiny graphic. Neat!
