This is a handy little site to find out which song was number one on the Billboard charts on any given day.

The number one song on my birthday was 'Magic' by Olivia Newton-John from Xanadu.  I would have preferred a song written by ELO from that soundtrack, but I'll take it.

Club Noveau, "Lean on Me"

You'll like it in hell; it's a lot like New Jersey.

The Emotions, "The Best of My Love". Basically my life started pretty much the same way as "Boogie Nights" but things diverged drastically from there.
