Regretfully, I will attend this gathering.

The Gathering of the Sadsacks was fun, but at the same time I've never felt more alone in the world taking in all the reports, tweets, pics and videos from the real Gathering, while I'm sitting here in the dark at 2 am, fighting to stay awake. It went fairly well, but I zoned out at times. (Maybe I should go over to "Best Show time" like yesno suggested.)

I am however fuming over reports that say that there were several Swedes present at the Iron Monkey last night, and none of them were me. Just stumbled upon the party, from what I understand - if someone could shed some light on this, please do. Bizniz folks? Bright side: they unexpectedly got exposed to WFMU and Best Show for the first time. On the other hand: how dare they upstage me. Pearls for swine. Etc.

The Swedes were among a number of people who were already on the roof when the FOTs started showing up.  Not sure why they were in Jersey, though.

And those of us who were trying to listen to the show.  They were quite loud.  (This was at the beginning of the show, before everyone gave up on actually trying to hear the show)

I was one of many who tried (in vain) to 'explain' the show to The Swedes. We even tried to tell them that a fellow Swede was responsible for a Best Show podcast.

Yeah, the Gathering of the Sadsacks was great and I am glad we all chatted. It made me feel better, in a loser-ish sort of way!
