Should we wear our Scar-Face shirts? Would that freak Ted out?

This would help get the point across, I suppose...
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.

It'd be like a weird crew... not unlike FSU Crew.

Boston show - SOLD OUT! (Another slam dunk for TL)
So again, to those going: Scar-Face shirts? Yay or Nay?

Well, I am not able to make it to this show as times are TOUGH (with a capital T-O-U-G-H) for me right now and I'm scheduled to work that night. I hope you all have fun and while I feel lame for trying to gather some FOTs preshow and having to bail, I hope you all have fun, and understand my situation! Post here after the show to let us know how it is!

Just back from the Philadelphia show, which was great.  Ted Leo getting it done.  He played everything I wanted to hear, and the new songs were top notch.

I'll be there as an employee, and then later as an audience member. At least two other FOT co-workers will be there as well. I don't have a Scar-Face shirt, but I will keep my eyes peeled for yiz.

I will be there with this Allison and some other people, only one of which I think likes the show.

I've never been to something at the Middle East that was sold out or even moderately crowded- not to sound like a crazed fan, but about what time should we get there to be more or less in the front? I don't need to be first in line or anything ridiculous, but it helps to be up close when you're short. And I admittedly also just want to be in front.

I have this same question.

I seem to remember a sold-out show at the Paradise club having a large crowd presence around the stage before the first of three acts started playing. Since I am also short, I usually go up to the balcony section, but that's really more for gawking than rocking. I haven't been to the Middle East, though, so I don't know what their layout is.

I'll be there tomorrow night with my WFMU shirt on.

If you want to be up front I'd definitely get there well before the first band plays.  It is a much smaller club than the Paradise and there are not as many up-front spots.  I try to go up the left raised-up side of the club.  You can go there well into the first or second band and still find a spot where you can see TL.  I'll try to wear the Scar-Face Shirt as well.

This might be a good time to start thinking about organizing a Boston Best Show listening party again (I've pushed it a couple times before to no avail).

See ya then,
Ted

We're all gonna wear our Celtics jerseys and Red Sox hats to fulfill our stereotype right?

While the show is sold out, I think I'm still on the guest list (I know a dude who works for the Beggars group, yeah I'm showing off a little) so I'll be there. Dunno what I'll be wearing, depends on the weather. Pray to your deity of choice that the snow holds off.

Well, that didn't work.
