I think you'd like Marc Maron, Mike. He does jokes about despair and deprivation. Although, me thinks jokes doesn't quite convey what he does. Laughable truths is more apropos. He has a podcast! Past guests include David Cross, Jim Gaffigan, and John Oliver. Although, the real attraction is always Maron, which is a true testament to his talents.

As an aside, I think Cross's albums are two of the best cultural artifacts for navigating through the post 9/11 landscape.

Hey Mike,

Why are using a picture of Spike in drag as your profile picture?

Your pal,

B_buster, have you seen Herzog's docs?  God's Angry Man is pretty great.

I need a copy of that. Dr. Scott was a freak. I remember him and his Sunday shows on Ch. 13 in LA. He still exists on shortwave if you want some creepy from the dead kinda experience.

Don't forget that he had a random 20min conversation about Mad Men for no other reason than he and his friend like it.
You look like a really healthy Arthy Lang.

Just don't start talking about digestive system distress, especially using non-scientific terms, and we'll all be fine.

i guess it's the part of it thats just kind of irrelevent and pointless.

like it's easy to do, right? you can do it at any time so the sport of it is kind of like a less challenging bean bag toss so when it's celebrated so frequently and mentioned that it's liked so much so frequently perhaps it comes off as a "trying too hard" type thing.

also the mike show needs its own slot, you have my go-ahead on that.
