I remember that! That broad's kind of dopey. I don't think YouTube has any sort of agenda against her. Her videos are lame. But, hey, so were LonelyGirl15's. There's no accounting for taste.

I like Crispin Glover, I do. He's kind of a weirdo, you know? It's hard to tell how much of his wackiness if an act, or if he's a genuine nutjob. Either way, I enjoy watching him. He's not creepy in the same way your Vincent Gallos or Dov Charneys or Terry Richardsons are. I'm not afraid he's going to hit on a Stevie Ryan or a LonelyGirl15 or a Cory Whatsherface and take them to their vans for unspeakable sexual acts, you know>

The whole Lonelygirl15 phenomenon is my second biggest "I don't get it" ever.  My biggest "I don't get it" ever is the New York Times' consistent coverage and deconstruction of the lonelygirl15 phenomenon.  How can anyone able to hold down a writing job possibly have the patience to watch those things, ESPECIALLY after they have been uncovered as fiction.

Thank you. I never thought I'd be nostalgic for the Blair Witch Project "meme" until Lonelygirl15 and the Jason Fortuny Craigslist prank hit the newswire. Can't we just go back to playing Minesweeper?

I guess the real marketing genius of Lonelygirl15 wasn't that millions of people watched it on YouTube but that a thousand lazy journalists around the world could bang out 1500 word articles about it without having to leave their desks.
