Little help
« on: October 30, 2009, 04:25:18 PM »
Who was the guy that ran the movie theater that Tom used to call in order to hear his charming recorded descriptions of the latest movies and then sometimes a dirty joke?

Does this still exist? What's the number?

That was Jim Bob.  Didn't catch the name of the theatre, but it was in North Carolina, located (sounds like) 119 N. Main st.

There's one on Aug 26, 2003 at the 2:44 mark.

Tom played his messages at least a half dozen times around this date, usually in the third hour.

Looks like it's Tim Bob.  Good save, MoS.

Graham is about 35 minutes and about 35 years from my house.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Holy crap, I didn't realize it was a real theater-- I always thought it was an Earles bit.
