Part of the reason I love this show is the community that Tom has formed.  If I could form that same kind of giving, exciting community in a church, we could change the world.

People are pretty convinced of the existence of Tom and WFMU. God and Heaven are a trickier sell.

I just want to say thanks to everyone! Your kindness has really blown me away (FOT are awesome people, no?) and I appreciate it more than you can ever know!

Heaven is probably bullshit and God is probably beside the point.  What matters is doing stuff like this, which people do because of the community Tom has created.  You know, all that love your neighbor crap.  That's what I'm interested in.

I got my pledge form today. It says:
total pledged: 100
paid: 75 (thanks aaron!)
amount due: 25
prizes won: garden state sticker, best show premium, and woof-moo shirt (I'm assuming they mean Radio Bear) shirt
Does that sound about right?

Sounds like altogether you drummed up $265. nice one, Bonnie! I just emailed Joe McGasko to check whether you needed to do anything special...

I think you should make a note about the $265 and select swag based on that!

I'll let you know what they say, though!
