I don't, actually. My standards are too high. Obama's not far enough to the left for me.

Geez, if I had said something about Bush nobody would have replied.

What are your standards? And if no one meets them and you can't articulate anything specific, what's the point of having the conversation?

Do you not want people to ask you to explain yourself? If you posted something that broadly negative about Bush on a site that had more conservatives on it, I'm sure people would reply.

PS. Here's another video of Glenn Beck crying. Just cuz.

The truth is, my political opinions change dramatically from day to day.

I'm passionate about nothing.

It's just that if it's so easy to troll and it's on a board with people of mostly one political persuasion, it's kind of unfair to me. I'm young and weak.

Obama isn't far enough to the left for me, either.  There are a lot of people like that, and there's nothing particularly shocking about this.  Despite the corporate media's efforts to paint him as a wild-eyed radical socialist loon, he's pretty fucking centrist.  Most of us realize that, and unless our purity of soul is such that we're mortally scandalized by the idea that politicians make compromises, we accept that he's still a big improvement over the prancing jagoff who preceded him, or anyone the opposition has to offer.  Or anyone who's likely to get 51% of the votes in this not-very-bright country.

But when I hear a self-described moderate say he's worse than Beck, my idiot-dar goes off.

Are you the one person on this board who's younger than me (and Petey, I guess)?

Do you not realize that I only bash Obama because his fans get so sensitive?

Haven't given it much thought.  If I were a shrink, I'd be counseling unrepentant nymphomaniacs, not message board twerps.

I don't care what the rest of you are talking about, I like Jim Jones' music.

This conversation has run its course.
