I don't know much about the Tall Dwarfs, sad to say, or the sad story of Chris Knox, but I will be getting acquainted with both shortly.  New Jeff Mangum material tends to get my immediate attention:

Any recommendations as to where to start if I want to learn more about the band?  And granted, Jefferson last "worked" at WFMU in 2002 (http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/MU)... but has Tom ever commented one way or another on him or on Neutral Milk Hotel?
