How many z morning zoos are there in the US?  What is it about the letter z that brings out such wacky zany behaviour?

I'm really sorry about your sister's cat, Sarah.  Oh, FOT board, springing bereavement on me in the Morning Zoo pranks some Jewish people thread!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I'm sorry to have caused this thread to veer so violently off course.  On the other hand, sympathy for my sister's loss seems much more wholesome than whatever emotions were inspired by that prank, so I can't feel too bad.

I'm actually more interested in the cat, Sarah.  I am genuinely sorry; after having lost a pet to illness I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Lily was very old--at least seventeen and a half, quite possibly more--and she had what was pretty close to a good death:  some discomfort, but no agony, just a fairly speedy weakening culminating in the final paroxysm (literally).  She died at home, surrounded by familiar things and critters.  We should all be so lucky.

But death sucks, and I'm tired of it.
