The Red Riding Trilogy

I enjoyed it, but have to admit that the time scheme was a bit confusing. I will rewatch. I also have to admit that I found some of the Northern English accents so thick I couldn't decipher them no matter how many times I played back certain scenes (the character Bob Craven was almost completely incomprehensible to me).

I've heard only good things so far. I just ordered all four books from Amazon. I'll probably read those before I give the movies a watch.

How did you see this, Mike? I've seen lots of reviews but can't seem to figure out if it's in theaters.

It's available on Region 2 DVD.

Are Northern accents really difficult to untangle? I have one, so they sound natural to me.

My ex-housemate worked on this and I was fortunate to meet some of the cast. I thought it was the best piece of UK drama TV since Cracker, which I would recommend to Mike wholeheartedly.
