You know what, I did my best and unknown settings tripped me up. But i came through in the end and that's what makes me a true American.

That's what happens when you win the most bronze medals at the Olympics--the bandwagon starts getting crowded.

Can't get in the chat.  Anyone else?

Is there still a backup one people use?

Oh, so it's not just me!

Everyone's welcome in Chinatown's chat, of course.http://chinatown.speeqe.com/.  If you want to use your normal FOT names, you can change the one you're assigned automatically by typing /nick [name you want].

To clarify:  to change your name in the alternative chat, type a forward slash (or solidus, if you prefer that term) followed immediately by "nick" (without quotation marks), then a space, then the name you want.

E.g., for me to change my name to Sarah, I would type /nick Sarah.

To change your name on speeqe, type "/nick" (without the quotation marks), then a space, then the name you want to use.

Why the change from http://fot.speeqe.com/, which is where clicking on "Click here to access the chat" takes us?

Didn't you hear the endearing noise of the vuvuzela on my link?

Ho.  No.  I did not click on the link.  And had no idea the vuvuzela produces the hornetlike sound my mother was just complaining about to me on the phone (although I did note the coincidence that it was also mentioned during Meghan's show this morning).

Is soccer hooliganism on the rise?  I can imagine that sound driving people to acts of violence.

Apparently, it only sounds annoying on the TV broadcasts and not in the stadium itself. I've actually grown used to that sound. I hated it the first couple of days.

I'm only a casual fan so I have no idea about your hooliganism question or your suspected link of the vuvuzela to soccer violence.

Yes, but they will be self-inflicted, as attendees repeatedly jam the stick end of pom-poms and flags into their ear holes.

Is anyone successfully getting on the chat to which the "chat" button directs us?
